Christmas

Christmas is my favorite time of year. I love the snow and all of the food i get to eat during the holidays. The best part is the presents. Even though im grown up i still love getting new things. This year im getting an iphone 4 and a new fishing rod and real. I cant wait till spring comes around to catch a bigger bass than last year. Then i can take a picture with my iphone and send it to everybody.

Christmas Gift

I have always wanted a four wheeler. Every year sense i was like 5 i have wanted one, but i still havent gotten it. Mom says its to dangerous even though i ride them all the time and never get hurt. I live on a farm so i think it would be useful and fun to have one. I have pretty much given up up trying to get one because i know she will never get me one. I can still imagine i have one.

The World

The world it pretty awesome. If you just think about how big it really is and we are only a small part of it. Its hard to take in how big it is and how much of the world is uninhabited. We take a lot for granted here and we trash our planet. One day we will regret what we have done to it because it could all end. Hopefully it doesnt end when im still here because that would be a bad death. I would like to go into outer space and see what it looks like. I think it would be an awesome sight to see. Maybe one day we will be able to buy a ticket and fly out to space.

Finally Over

Well football is finally over. Its been a long four years. I had my share of bruises and broken bones. I cant say i enjoyed every moment of it but i can say that it was fun. The long summer practices were rough but i pushed through them knowing that when the season started it would get easier. I have no regrets, i did everything i could for the team. I left it all out on the field. I hope the underclassmen will respect me and learn from my example for next year. You cant always finish out on top but knowing that i gave it my all, i cant look down at what happened. It will only lift me up and make me a better person in life.

Job

Now that football is almost over i can finally start looking for a job. I filled out an application at Hibbetts but i havent got a call from them yet. Im eager to make some money and feel older. I hope to make a thousand dollars before i go off to college. I also filled out my UK application about a week ago and im hoping that i get an acceptance letter back in the mail. My brother and I already have our housing plans so it would be very bad if i didnt get in.

Last Game

This Friday is my last football game ever. We are played one of the best teams in the state so i know how the game will go. Its not a good way to end my career but at least we made it to the playoffs. Im going to miss football but its time to move on and starting working on my career after high school. I had a lot of good time and a lot of bad times. Im glad i played all four years and i experienced many things that will help me in life.

Halloween

I dont really remember a good Halloween because i havent been in so long but i can tell you how i feel about it. When i was a kid i always loved going out and getting candy. I always had a race with my brother to get the most candy. He usually won because he was older but it was still fun. After we were done we would trade the candy that we didnt want. That always worked out good because we didnt usually like the same candy. My dad would also steal our Smarties because that was his favorite kind.

Ghost

I dont believe in ghosts. I think there might be spirits that roam around but i dont think that they have powers to move things and make noises. Even though i dont believe in them i still get a little scared when i hear something or see something that cant be explained. That would freak anybody out. I think that its just all in your head and if you can block them out then you wont be scared of them. They cant hurt you even if they are real so theres no reason to be scared of them.

What was i scared of as a child?

The only thing that i can think of was that a monster would come out of my closet if i didnt close the door before i went to bed. If i didnt then it would come out and get me in my sleep. When i didnt close it and notice it i would jump out of bed and close it real fast. I also used to keep a light to scobe the room out to see if there were any monsters in the dark before i closed my eyes. It sounds very stupid now that i am older but i was young and had a big imagination.

Graves

It seems like every time the football team takes a step forward we take three steps back. Every game we start out winning and then we loose composure and end up loosing bad. I dont know what our problem is. We were beating owensboro and ended up loosing and we were beating Graves 14-0 and lost. It didnt help that four of our starters are out. Now we have to play the best team in the state in the playoffs. Im not looking forward to that at all. Im just hoping to still be alive after that game.

DC Game

Well we stomped DC last friday 47-7. It was a big step to getting back on track. The past couple of games we didnt play very well at all. Now we are playing together so i hope that we will continue that for the rest of the season. The coaches are working really hard to get us to play together and its starting to work. I knew that we were good but we couldnt put all of the parts together. Now that we do i feel like we can go a long way.

Not a good start

Well this season isnt going like i thought it would. we are 1-3 and thats not good at all. The good thing is that we are tied for first in district because thats our only win. I hope we can turn things around and get back on track before the next game. Our next game is a district game so it is very important to win that one. I dont want my senior year to turn out bad but i cant really do anything about it.

Home

I like being at home. When im out of town or at practice i just cant wait to get home and relax. Now that im older i just want to leave this town and go to college. The college life is much better than sitting around watching tv all day. I could actually go outside and play sports. Plus this town has nothing to do so that just makes me want to leave even more. I know my parents wont like me going off to college because im the last one but i have to leave sometime.

UK weekend

This weekend i went to UK with three friends to visit my brother and watch the game. We went up on friday and went to a friends house. On saturday we went to a cookout before the game and saw just about everybody from Owensboro. Our seats at the game were really close but we were right behind the band which was a little annoying. The game went well and UK rolled over WKU 63-28. I like both teams but i was more for UK because thats where i plan on going to college. That night we just stayed at my brothers house and ordered pizza. It was a fun weekend but i didnt get much sleep sense i wasnt in my own bed. I hope to do it again soon.

Bad Loss

Last weeks game was horrible. I thought we would win but we werent even close to that. They werent that good, but we just played bad that night. When your captain and leader of the defense isnt playing than that messes you up. He will be back for the next game so i hope we can get our momentum back to where it was. We have had a hard practice this week trying to become the hard-nosed football players that Apollo always has. It has been a long and tough week but the work is worth it if we get a victory next week.

game day

Today is game day and i am ready to play again. It has been a long week of practices. I know we will do good, but we have to stay focused on what is going on because one mistake on a play could mean a touchdown. That one touchdown could make us lose. Thats what happened last week. Coach has pounded that in our heads this week because he doesnt want that to happen again and neither do I. We will see how it goes tonight.

Big Game

This weeks game is an important game. We are coming off a loss and we need a win to get back on track. This weeks practice is crucial to play good this week. Warren Central is a good team that has good athletes. It will be a long game because they like to run the ball a lot. Our defense has to step up and stop them or we will lose. Its my senior year so i play every game like its my last. I dont want to lose any more games this year, so that when i grow older i wont look back and regret how this year turned out.

First Loss

We lost 10-2 last Saturday. It was a heart breaking loss. The good thing about it is that the team we played was the state runner up the past two years. If we held a team like that to only 10 points, then in my eyes that is a victory. It was a tough game. They were big and fast. It was a battle of will throughout the whole game. One mistake cost us the game. If we didnt make that one mistake, we would be 2-0 right now, but the past is the past and we have to start preparing for next weeks game.

Alike

The person in my family that i am most alike is probably my dad. We both strive to do our best and put our best effort into it. We both like to have a god time and joke around. We also like to wrestle all of the time. Football is a passion for both of us as well. If there is a football game on, than we are watching it. We also have a short temper but i can hold it back easier than him. Hes always there for me after my games to tell me good game and always trys to help me be a better athlete. Thats something that i would like to do with my kids. He is my hero and a great dad.

44-26

Well we started off the season on a very good note. We slaughtered the other team in the first half with a score of 30-0. It couldn't have started off so good. We were flying around the ball, causing fumbles, and causing havoc. When we came back after the half coach put in the 2nd team, and everything started to get out of whack. Thats when the other team scored. Then he put the 1st team back in and we went back to what we were doing in the first half. We put up two more scores and got the victory. It was probably the longest game i have ever played in. The game started at 7 and ended a little after 10. They usually only last till 9 or 9:30. I was happy with how the game turned out and i hope it continues throughout the season.

New Season

This year is my senior year in football. I hope that it goes well, so i wont regret it after im out of high school. So far i cant tell how the year will go because we have only had one scrimmage. Sometimes we arent that great, but at other times we are better than last year. Im looking forward to the new season and our first game. This summer has been the worst out of all of the four years i have played. It was hotter than any other year and we had to run a lot more. I hope all the hard work will pay off by getting us to the playoffs again and actually getting past the first round game. I guess we will find out how good we really are this Friday night.
