Heat

I hate the summer heat because it makes me sweat so much. I try to spend a lot of time inside unless im fishing because it has a good breeze. I dont know how people could be comfortable without air conditioning. I guess they got by with fans and leaving the windows. I know i wouldnt want to do that.

Prom

Prom was a lot better than i thought it would be. I hate dances but i actually enjoyed myself there. I guess it was because they actually played halfway descent music. If i didnt have to take pictures and just go to the dance part then it would be good. Taking pictures is the worst part because i hate pictures. My girlfriend loves pictures so i cant ever get out of them.

High School

It is all coming close to an end. I cant wait for it to be over, so i can move on to college and be an adult. There is nothing to do in owensboro so when i move to lexington there will be more to do and new people to hang out with. It will be a new experience that i cant wait to have. After i graduate i will only have four years before i will be out in the world by myself.

Kid

When i was a kid my favorite activity was playing football just like it is now. I played youth football at the time and i thought i was so cool because i played football. I looked forward to the games every weekend. I hated elementary school though because i felt so young.

Journey

Today i will be traveling across and urban area to Lowe's. I am taking my pen and notepad to take notes while i am there. My brain being able to remember everything is necessary for my journey. I hope to discover that i still have my job and that i will be starting on the floor here soon.

Lowes

I finally got my job at Lowe's. It has been a long process, but it was worth it because i can finally get money to buy a truck. I havent finished my training yet so i dont know how fun the job will be yet but i do like the people that work there so far.

My spring break was fun but it didnt last very long. It seemed to go by faster at home then it would in Florida. I was able to go to UK to visit my brother so i guess staying at home was worth it.

Stressed

When im stressed i get fed up and angry. Usually school work gets me more stressed than anything. I hate having a big project do and stressing over if its good enough for an A or not. Talking in front of a big group also stresses me out because i hate doing it. I used to get stressed out before football games but after a while i got over it. I try not to get stressed out but sometimes you cant help it or it just happens.

Character

Some good qualities that people need to have is funny, smart, nice and outgoing. I think that these three things are things that people need to have to be a good person. I personally have the first three qualities but im not very outgoing. My parents have all of these qualities which makes them good parents. It hard to get along with someone who doesnt have one of these qualities because they seem to be mean or like they dont care.

Breaks

Breaks are very important to me. If i dont get a break it seems like everyday gets longer and longer. If i dont get any rest my mom says i get cranky but i dont see it. I need about 3 hours of relaxation a day so i can build up the energy i need during the day. My idea of relaxation is sitting on the sofa watching tv. Aslo i like to sit on the lake in my boat and fish. Any time i can go fishing is a good day.

Camping

This weekend i went camping with my brother and his friends in Falmouth, KY about an hour northeast of Lexington. It was one of the best times i have ever had. We were in the middle of nowhere with no phone signal, which was good because i didnt want anything to do with the outside world. WE sat around the fire and told stories about old times. We also went mudding in trucks. That was a blast. After we were done you couldnt tell what color the paint was. When we were going through Lexington in our convoy, people would stop and laugh at us and take pictures. I hope to do it again soon.

Basketball

My intermural basketball team made it to the final game and lost by three points in overtime. We had a good season and im glad that we made it that far. I would have rather ended the season with a win, but making it to last game is fine with me. Hopefully there will be intermurals at UK, so i can join a team. It wont be as fun there though because everybody will be a lot better.

3 months left

I cant wait to get out of school and leave Owensboro. I have been waiting forever to finally get to leave. Now that it is fast approaching, it is very hard not to think about it. College life will hopefully be a great experience for me. The UK games are going to be awesome. I am leaving all of my friends behind so i hope i can make new ones, but i have some friends that already go there so it wont be to bad. I hope the next few months go by fast.

A Lazy Day

Some of the best reasons for doing nothing is that you get a lot of rest. When you just sit there all day you dont lose any energy which is good. Also, you dont have to do any work. I hate doing work because its not any fun. The last reason is that your just so tired that you dont want to do anything but sit on the couch and watch tv. I have those kinds of days just about everyday, but i also play games.

Weekend

I went up to UK this weekend to see my brother and look around the campus. It was a lost of fun, but i didnt get much sleep. We ate at some really good places and i cant wait to go back to them. We also got out his throwing knives and threw them at a piece of wood. I found out really quick that it wasnt my thing. I wont be going back up there till spiring break, so maybe there will be some new stuff to do next time.

Silly

Silly is when my cat tries to hide around the corner, but his head is sticking out to watch me to time his jump at me. Silly is when my dog tries to jump on the bed, but he is to fat and falls off. Silly is when an old guy tries to figure out a new phone and ends up throwing it at the wall because he cant figure it out.

Dogs

If a dog could talk i think it would tell people to be nice to everybody no matter what their color or race. I also think that they would tell people to play with them more and not leave them alone because they get bored when everybody leaves for work. I love my dog and id like to know what he thinks so i could make his life more enjoyable.

Working Out

Ive decided to start working out again at the YMCA. I used to go all of the time, but now that football is over i havent done much, so i need to stay active and exercise. Its been rough so far sense i havent really done anything for three months. I hope it will get easier on me. I dont even like to work out but i know its good for me.

Life and Death

My Granddads funeral was good and we had a lot of people come. I was glad it went well so i could end with a good memory. It was hard to see him. I kept looking at him waiting for him to move or breathe. His birthday is in six days so that will be a hard day to. I plan on visiting his grave that day. He was a great man and i will miss him dearly.

My Granddad

My Granddad is very sick with cancer and doesnt have much longer to live. I am going to miss him dearly. He has taught me a lot and is a big factor in how i turned out in life. He always helped me with football and supported me through the tough times. He is a great man and there are few like him. If you are ever down he can bring you up with one of his stories. They seem so real but my mom always tells me that he makes them up. Either way they are still funny. I will miss him and everything he has done for me. I hope he holds on as long as he can.

Example

I want to be a good example to my friends and family. If you are a good person than people will respect you and look up to you to lead as an example for them. Most people will admire that and hope to do the same thing for the people in their lives as well. Hopefully one day i could change the life of someone by giving them a good example or being a role model for them. One of my best friends mom always says that i am a good role model for her son and that i keep him out of trouble.

Future

I am very ready to get out of school and go to college. Life in Owensboro is boring and i want new experiences. Ive been looking forward to college for three years now and its hard to wait. I know its going to be hard but i know i will have a lot of fun. I still have to wait over eight months still. Im also still waiting for a job. It seems like they take a month to read over my application, but i dont really need one till summer.

Next 12 Months

Somethings that i plan on doing in the next 12 months:

-Catching a bigger fish then last year

-starting off good in college

-get a truck

-get a good job

-go on a cruise

If my next year had all of these things in them then it would be the best year of my life. I know that wont happen, but if a few of these were included then i would still be a happy camper.

Accepted

Over the break i finally got my acceptance letter from UK. I am very excited to have a chance to go there and further my education. I am looking forward to a change of scenery and meet new people. After 18 years Owensboro gets really old and boring. I cant wait to go to all of the football and basketball games to experience the atmosphere of college. I hope i can make it through UK because i know it is a tough school, but it will help me be prepared for my future job.

Christmas Break

I had a good Christmas break even though it went by to fast. I got everything i wanted and i got to see my family that i havent seen in a while. I spent a lot of time with my friends and my brother who i only see once a month. I went fishing one day with no luck. I got my iphone that i have been hoping to get for a long time. Also, a new fishing rod and camo seat covers for my car. I couldnt have asked for a better break.
